The Air cleaning filter is original from Mitsubishi Electric and is of the type Eelectrostatic anti-allergy enzyme filter" and should be changed once a year to maintaine the best indoor climate.
Mitsubishi also calls this filter MAC-2310FT-E in the instructions.
